Indian Head Massage
All theoretical and practical aspects of the treatment will be fully covered in class.
The course is run over one and a half days.
1st day covers :
Theoretical History Benefits and effects Contra-indications Aftercare Practical Massage techniques Oils and their properties Routine using oils Routine over clothes
2nd day covers :
Review of case studies and their outcomes Assessment of learning
To complete the course the student is required to competently cover :
2 case studies each of 2 treatments. 1 practical Assessment. 1 Written Assessment.

Hand and Auricular treatments.

This qualification forms the pre-requisite requirement for all VTCT qualifications
The
main aim of these units is to ensure that support is given to
employment standards and security involving professionalism equality of
treatment for clients, community involvement, hygienic practices, cost
effectiveness, supporting protection from physical and mental abuse and
how the image of the workplace can enhanced. It specifies
that all these factors lead to greater success in treatment provision
and this leads to security in employment
To complete the Diploma
the student is required to complete a portfolio of work that
contributes to confirming your understanding
